Session 1-- Thursday, Jan 27- Building Wealth for Your Future - Capturing the wealth in your community for public benefit - Understand the resources that are available in your own community and how to capture these for public benefit. Through the development of community foundations, you can move towards community self-reliance and engagement in grant making.

Session 2 - Thursday, Feb 3 - Build in Evaluation to Communicate Public Value - Demonstrating outcomes to funders and stakeholders - With more funding agencies moving to outcomes based grant funding, the importance of building in evaluation has become imperative to funding your cause. Learn how to use evaluation in the design of your program, documenting impact that funders can understand and communicate.

Session 3 - Thursday, Feb 10 - How to Make your Organization Sustainable through Mission-Related Social Enterprises - Hear about Café Reconcile, an innovative life skills and job training program assisting young people (ages 16-22), from severely at-risk communities, who desire to make a positive change in their lives. Café Reconcile is an inspirational example of using a social enterprise successfully to meet the needs of the population it serves, while also providing a revenue stream to help fund the organization's mission.

Session 4 - Thursday, Feb 17 - Building Partnerships to Leverage Additional Resources - Presenters will provide case study examples of programs and initiatives, where developing strong partnerships provided a vehicle through which to leverage substantial funding assistance. Case Studies featured will be: the Stronger Economies Together (SET) Program and the Community Progress Initiative, an innovative approach to community economic development developed through partnering organizations.

Session 5 - Thursday, Feb 24 - Being an Effective Fund Raiser for your Non-Profit - Tips you should know! - The key to securing large gifts from your donors is relationships -- relationships that are warm, professional and mutually beneficial. But how do you nurture or cultivate those relationships with prospective donors who have little or no connection with your organization and your cause? With a comprehensive "moves management" system. In the fundraising profession, "moves" are the planned, regular, documented steps you take as an organization to draw donors closer to your organization.
